Handmade ceramic checker container made with stoneware clay and hand painted with checkers. Each is built from slab clay and while wet pinched on the sides. Each piece is one of a kind, made by hand in my cozy studio in Mad River Valley Vermont.
After bisque firing, checkers are painted with wax resist and dipped in gloss white.
